What is your most smartest trick to save money at the department store, grocery, gas station or even shopping online. In 250 words or less. Am looking for your best money saving tip! for starters, buy things in bulk that you use often. I buy whole sides of beef, cut them how I want and freeze them. I can make steaks 3/4 inch thick and still be cheaper per pack of two than the 1/2 thick cut individual on the shelf. ANother is to buy the whole pork loin and make your own pork chops. I can get a about six packages of 3/4 chops from one loin, 2 per package. about twice as expensive to buy the chops already sliced, with bones and thinner. Another thing is to round your bill up to the next highest dollar when writing in the checkbook. lets say your bill is 95.23 write it as 100.00 even. I do that all bills. You would be amazed how much you save buy doing that.

Pay off your credit cards. Shop for items on eBay for big savings.
At the grocery store – buy the store brands when they are on sale, use coupons only if the name brand plus the coupon is cheaper than the store brand (most store brands are actually produced by name brands).
Car pool, even if it’s slightly inconvenient – like having to leave a few minutes early or come home a few minutes late. Also do all your errands in order – plan you route and turn right as often as possible (proven to save mega-gas in a year by UPS! They plan their delivery routes this way.)
