Use baby clothes for decorations. You can even get them at a thrift store. Hang clothes lines and clothes pin cute clothes to them. The baby can even wear them after it’s born.

Keep the decorations to a minimum, get some ballons from wal-mart, and a helium tank from wal-mart, also some streamers, dont waste money on stupid decorations, if your doing food do it yourself, just offer finger foods and not a meal, you can make a veggie tray and buy sliced meat and arrange it on a tray yourself…. You can make invitations on the computer and hand deliver the ones that you can, this cuts costs on stamps, bake the cake yourself… and find a nice place to have it that you dont have to rent… if your having it soon, while its summer, try to have it at a park somewhere, or outside that way you wont have to pay for it! Also if your playing games try to pick ones that dont require props or anything!
Go to a dollar store. They will have everything you need, unless you want something like a cartoon character theme. The dollar store has tableware in all colors, streamers, balloons, banners, even party favors.
You can find cheap invitation packs at a supermarket or convenient store, or you can even make them yourself with some basic craft and/or computer skills.
