OKay so im 14 and i have a job. I’ve wanted to save and i’ve been trying but i just dont know where all my money goes ! Do you have any tips on saving money and stuff? There are things i need to save for so id really appreciate your help. Thanks=)

It would help if you set up a separate account at the bank or credit union, where the money is automatically deposited. And, don’t get a ATM card for this account. Try ING or emigrantdirect.com for a higher rate of return on the interest. (You may need your parents to set it up with you).

Do you have a checking account? If so, see if your employer will pay you by direct deposit, and you can set up a secondary savings account that will automatically move money from checking to savings each payday. Treat this like a bill, and you will build a savings account.
